A bespoke modernist house perched on the side of a hill overlooking farm land with views of the gulf of Thailand. The design blends simplicity of form with local craft, to result in a one of a kind eco-home.

Our role

Architecture

At one of the first design meetings with the client he mentioned his love of turn of the century design and modernism. We decided early on to explore this idea of simple raw materials, expressed in clean lines that cut through the landscape and to locate walls in such a way that allows the inside to blend with the outside. The house should feel like an extension of the land and vis-a-versa.
