Earth Villa

A bespoke modernist house crafted with the sand and clay from the site. The result is a building with very low embodied carbon and walls that have very high thermal capacity.

The earth villa was one of 6 identical villas arranged on a suburban site that was characterised by semi mature fruit trees. The aim of the project was to create a small micro community that could share resources and live close to the city but surrounded by nature
